What to expect

Some drills for Boot Camp: 

  • Calisthenics –pushups, sit ups (crunches), mountain climbers, ext…
  • Agility ladders
  • Lunges with delt raises
  • Shuffles
  • Major abdominal work
  • Squats
  • Wheelbarrows
  • Extreme variety, if your up to the challenge
  • Crab walk, bear crawls
  • Jogs and runs
  • Wind sprints, suicides, and other fun stuff

 SESSIONS START ON TIME, and last one hour.

You may have to do extra push ups and laps if you’re late.

 

Things to bring: 

  • Water bottle
  • Exercise mat
  • Sweat towel
  • Proper clothing for the weather
  • Positive attitude
  • Athletic shoes
  • 5 or 8 lb hand weights

Things to NOT bring: 

  1. Ipods
  2. Jewelry
  3. Fancy clothes

What to expect: 

  • Reduction of Body Fat
  • Improved posture, coordination, and agility
  • Increased strength
  • A positive mental outlook
  • Greater Self Esteem
  • Feeling of Accomplishment

Assessments:

  • Assessments @ first and last class
    • Body Fat %
    • BMI
    • One minute ab crunches and push ups

 Suggestions for the next 4-5 weeks: 

  • Keep a food journal
  • Don’t let Boot Camp be a reason to eat more
  • Remember this is a lifestyle change not a “quick fix”
